BMX race accessories: the parts that finish the bike
A race bike is decided as much by the small parts as by the big ones: the saddle and its clamp, the number plate and the numbers on it, the pads, the valve caps, the tools you reach for on a Sunday morning before the gate opens. This section brings those accessories together, across every brand we carry — Tangent, Box Components, Insight, Stay Strong, Pride and Excess.
Saddles, seat posts and seat clamps
The saddle, post and clamp trio sets your pedalling position and decides whether that setting survives a rhythm section. Posts come in 25.4, 27.2 and 31.6 mm, with a clamp sized to the frame's seat tube — 28.6, 31.8 or 34.9 mm. A bolt clamp for racing, a quick-release lever when the bike is shared between riders.
Number plates, numbers and letters
A plate is compulsory in competition. The format follows the rider class — mini plate for Micro and Mini, standard plate for Expert, a more compact bar plate for Cruiser and Pro riders — and the number itself is allocated by the club or federation rather than chosen freely. Here you will find adhesive plate numbers and letters for a name, a club initial or a suffix.
Bar pads, valve caps and small parts
Pad sets covering the handlebar, stem and crossbar protect the cockpit and are usually the first item replaced on a Mini or Junior bike. Valve caps, in anodised aluminium or plastic, keep mud out of a Presta or Schrader core between motos.
Adaptors, tools and maintenance
Adaptors make the standards talk to each other: 10, 15 and 20 mm axles, Euro, Mid, Spanish and American bottom brackets, ISO 6-bolt or Centerlock disc mounts. Alongside them, dedicated tools and care products let you build and maintain your BMX drivetrain and your BMX brakes without marking the parts.
