The YBN MK918 chain is extremely robust and features a half-link design, allowing for more precise chain tension adjustment by removing half links rather than full links, as with a standard chain. It's ideal for single-speed drivetrains with high tension requirements, such as those found on BMX or fixed-gear bikes. Its tensile strength is further enhanced by reinforced, thicker, and stronger plates.
