What crank length should I choose for BMX Race?
Length depends on the rider's height: roughly 145-165 mm for youngsters (Mini/Expert) and 170-180 mm for adults (Pro). A three-piece chromoly or alloy crankset is the norm.
What is the compression bolt for?
Placed in the fork steerer via a star-nut or compression system, it adjusts the headset. Tighten it to remove play, without locking the handlebar rotation.
