The first generation of VELOX frames was a true turning point in the carbon frame market for BMX racing. Its atypical shapes and monocoque construction changed the game.

The all-new Velox Evo is the result of relentless innovation and Speedco's commitment to pushing the boundaries. It's no secret that the game is changing, evolving, if you prefer. Lap times continue to improve year after year, and riders are constantly pushing the limits in search of that extra 1%, scrutinizing every aspect of their equipment.

To build this new frame, Speedco examined the demands of top-level riders and reimagined their winning technology to deliver a performance masterpiece. Tested and approved throughout the 2023 season in the hands of Rico Bearman, winner of the U23 World Cup overall title.

Aerodynamics, and not just for aesthetics.
The Velox Evo is designed for UCI World Cup level competition, using tube shapes borrowed from the fastest bikes in the professional road peloton, for optimized performance at top speeds.

New diagonal tube

The Velox Evo's downtube connects directly to the rear stays via the bottom bracket, creating a reinforced power center for increased responsiveness from the start and in corners.

Flat Mount Fixing

The frame is compatible with Flat Mount brake calipers, a road bike standard that offers greater clearance for the disc. The brake hose is internally routed for easy maintenance. It is compatible with 10mm, 15mm, or 20mm rear axles (axle not included) and accommodates 140mm discs (120mm discs are not supported).

Back Bases Asymmetrical

The transmission side is offset at the rear dropouts to allow for the installation of the internal chain tensioner, while the upper stay has been raised to eliminate chain noise when using sprockets with large teeth.
