MEYBO HSX CARBON FRAME

The highest-performing frame in the MEYBO range, the HSX Carbon, is a competition-ready machine capable of winning the biggest championships. Featuring increased stiffness and cutting-edge technology, this new HSX carbon frame represents excellence. Lightweight, responsive, stable, and stiff, it offers all the desired advantages in a single frame.

The HSX Carbon is the fastest frame from the Dutch brand. Its geometry has been specifically designed for championship and world cup tracks, offering a perfect balance between handling and stability at very high speeds.

For the 2024 model, several important specifications must be considered. Regarding braking, this frame is only compatible with flat-mount calipers. This means the brake caliper is directly attached to the rear dropouts of the frame. For a clean finish, two mounting bolts pass through the rear dropouts to secure the brake caliper in place.

This configuration only works with 120mm discs; the frame is not compatible with 140mm discs.

Depending on the size, the bottom bracket shell changes from a BB86 to a BB386. For Expert, Expert XL, and Pro sizes, it's a BB86 (41 mm diameter). For larger sizes, it's a Pressfit BB386 (46 mm diameter). This allows for the insertion of a 30 mm bottom bracket axle without compromising bearing thickness. It's important to choose the correct part number based on your desired bottom bracket axle, as this bottom bracket shell is specific to your bike.

To maintain a consistent chainstay length regardless of the gearing used, this frame comes with a 15mm thru-axle. This significantly increases the stiffness of the rear end of the frame. This configuration requires a rear hub with a 15mm axle. The axle itself is made of 7005 aluminum and is entirely CNC machined.

To maintain consistent chain tension, Meybo has designed a chain tensioner that ensures optimal power transmission regardless of the gear ratio. For optimal chain tension adjustment with this tensioner, it is recommended to use a chain with half-links for more precise control.

In summary, the HSX is a concentration of new technologies with Toray T800 carbon tubes. Designed and built for competition, whether at high speed on a World Cup track or in first place on an indoor circuit, the HSX is a formidable weapon for racing.
