All Box handlebars are designed and manufactured using oversized technology. The handlebars serve a dual purpose, contributing to both steering and pedaling stiffness. By strategically varying the wall thicknesses and tube diameters, Box has shifted material from three low-stress zones to high-load zones. This has significantly minimized twisting and contributed to responsiveness. Simultaneously, Box has increased pedaling stiffness by providing a brake on the "lifting" phenomenon. There's no point in pushing hard on your pedals if you can't pull on your handlebars to deliver that power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar deflection, which can lead to poor power transfer and poor steering control. Combined with Box's other oversized components, you'll experience increased responsiveness and reduced latency.
Key differences : This particular handlebar model is designed for taller riders. Titanium allows you to explore the structural rigidity of steel, but without the compromise in weight. It's as exotic a solution as carbon fiber, but it offers a slightly different result for the discerning rider. Carbon will contribute to a more aggressive steering response, while titanium will be very sensitive but more refined.

Questions fréquentes
How do I choose handlebar width and height?
Width is close to shoulder width and trimmed to preference; height (rise) is chosen according to the rider's size and desired position. A higher bar raises the torso, a lower one is more aero.
Alloy, chromoly or carbon for a BMX Race handlebar?
Aluminium is light and versatile, chromoly takes impacts better, carbon offers the best weight/stiffness ratio for competition. Always respect the specified tightening torque.
Is shipping free?
