The KENDA Kompact Pro tire is specifically designed for BMX racing. It features a wide directional tread with inverted micro-knobs that provide excellent grip on smooth, hard tracks, as well as loose dirt. Its rubber compound is made of the exclusive DTC material: a central tread made of a hard, durable compound for excellent grip at high speeds, combined with a softer, more grippy compound for cornering.

What tyre width should I choose for BMX Race?
On fast, rolling tracks a narrow tyre (1-1/8" to 1.60) reduces friction; on loose or wet ground a wider section (1.75 to 1.95) adds grip. Many riders run a thinner tyre up front.
What tyre pressure for a BMX Race tyre?
It depends on the rider's weight and the track, often between 60 and 100 psi. High pressure improves efficiency on hard tracks, while lower pressure improves grip on soft ground.
