PRIDE WAVE CFR UD MATT / PRIDE CONTROL WHEELS
After extensive research and development, the French brand Pride Racing presents a pair of wheels that are both stiff and lightweight. Lightness and stiffness are two factors that are generally considered to be at odds, yet the result of these wheels proves that the challenge has been met!
The Pride Wave CFR rim was created and developed exclusively for BMX racing. It features a new, exclusive Pride Racing design, including a square reinforcement at each spoke head, allowing for higher spoke tension and superior wheel stiffness. Constructed from Toray T700 carbon, the Wave rim boasts a very low profile to minimize wind resistance and maximize stiffness. Weighing in at under 300g, it's one of the lightest rims on the market – a real advantage on the track!
For the hubs, the wheelset is equipped with Pride Control hubs with their well-known 6/60 system and 180 points of engagement, all combined with a CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum body.
Hubs that accompany most of today's top riders. A gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 with Bethany Shriever, a first place in the 2022 World Cup in Glasgow with Jérémy Rencurel. These Pride Control hubs are extremely efficient when it comes to pushing the limits on the track.
NOTE: The wheelset comes with a 20mm thru axle as well as spacers to fit all forks and also a kit with a lock ring and spacers to adjust the chainline.

The 20" is the racing standard from Mini to Pro; the 24" is reserved for the Cruiser. The youngest riders use smaller formats matched to the frame size.
