20" (406) FORWARD 20/10MM WHEELS - MACH1 KLIXX
This pair of wheels designed for Bmx Race bikes equipped with 20" (406) wheels is ideal for riders looking for a high-performance wheelset with a good price/quality ratio.
It is equipped with Mach1 Klixx rims, made in France from 6063 aluminum, which offer a good balance of weight and stiffness. The rims are mounted on Forward Joyride V2 hubs with sealed bearings. These hubs, with a 20mm thru-axle (not included) at the front and 10mm at the rear (female threads), ensure very quick acceleration thanks to their 6 micro-toothed pawls that provide 150 points of engagement.
NOTES
- The rear wheel comes with a 5mm spacer, a 16T chromoly sprocket, and a lock ring.
- Rim tape is not included

It all starts with the gearing: a chainring paired with a sprocket sets your gear development. A 44/16 setup is a versatile standard; you then adjust it to suit the track and the rider's power.
What wheel size for a BMX Race?
The 20" is the racing standard from Mini to Pro; the 24" is reserved for the Cruiser. The youngest riders use smaller formats matched to the frame size.
Chromoly or aluminium for drivetrain parts?
7075 aluminium is light and favoured in competition, while chromoly is tougher for young riders or intensive training. In BMX Race you want the best weight-to-stiffness ratio.
Are sealed-bearing wheels important?
Yes: sealed bearings resist track dust and moisture better, spin longer and need less maintenance than a traditional cup-and-cone hub.
