The -50% tier: end-of-line, plainly stated
At half price this is no longer a commercial discount but stock being cleared. The references involved will not be reissued: it is the last run of a colourway or of a model year, often in only one or two sizes.
The families represented
Aluminium and sometimes carbon frames in a given size (Mini, Junior, Expert, Pro), 20" and 24" forks, seat posts, seat clamps, saddles, headsets and maintenance kits. Rider gear drops to this level too, mostly on the extreme sizes of a collection.
How to make the purchase safe
On a frame, size is decided first by rider class and rider height, never by price: an Expert frame at -50% will do nothing for a Mini rider. Also check the bottom bracket standard (Euro, Mid, Spanish), the presence of brake mounts and the seat post diameter. If in doubt, call before ordering.
