BERINGER J2 JUNIOR CRANKSET
The Beringer Junior crankset is designed for competitive BMX racing. This crankset is the result of French machining expertise and technical knowledge of high-strength alloys. The hollow construction of its CNC-machined 6082 forged aluminum cranks and its 24mm hollow CrMo steel axle provides excellent rigidity, ensuring optimal power transfer.
The J2 version: Several aspects have been improved in this new version. It's approximately 5% lighter, weighing in at 585g in the 155mm size. A redesigned 24mm axle with 40 splines, including one keyed spline, provides increased stiffness and strength while pedaling. A reduced Q-factor of 154mm allows for a better riding position and improved pedaling performance.
Its design allows for easy assembly with the adjustment screw, and a secure hold thanks to the axial clamping, thus eliminating any play. Key features of this crankset include its ultra-light weight, rigidity, and durability.

What crank length should I choose for BMX Race?
Length depends on the rider's height: roughly 145-165 mm for youngsters (Mini/Expert) and 170-180 mm for adults (Pro). A three-piece chromoly or alloy crankset is the norm.
