THE Meybo HSX AL is a BMX Racing frame The perfect racing bike for those seeking performance without opting for a carbon frame. Featuring increased stiffness and cutting-edge technology, the Meybo HSX AL is the fastest aluminum frame in the Meybo range. Lightweight, responsive, stable, and stiff, it offers all the advantages needed for BMX racing and BMX competition.
It is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, with hydroformed tubes of varying thicknesses to optimize its weight. Its geometry has been specifically designed for BMX Racing championship and World Cup tracks, offering a perfect balance between maneuverability and stability at very high speeds.
For this new Meybo HSX AL model, in addition to a complete redesign, almost all the tubing has also been modified. The focus has been placed not only on appearance, but also on the quality, weight, and rigidity of the BMX frame.
The frame is only compatible with a Flatmount brake caliper. This means the caliper is directly attached to the rear dropout. This configuration only works with a 120mm rotor. Therefore, the frame is not compatible with 140mm rotors. It comes with 1, 2, and 4mm spacers to properly align your rotor if you are not using a specific HSX SD hub.
Depending on the frame size, the Meybo HSX AL frame uses a different bottom bracket standard. Junior, Expert, and Expert XL sizes use the BB86 standard (41 mm diameter). Larger sizes use a Pressfit BB386 (46 mm diameter). This design provides increased rigidity and reduces twisting while pedaling, a crucial factor in BMX racing.
To increase frame rigidity and maintain a constant chainstay length across developments, the rear triangle features a 15mm thru-axle, CNC machined from 7005 aluminum.
To maintain constant chain tension, Meybo designed a chain tensioner that ensures optimal transmission regardless of the gear ratio chosen. The Meybo HSX AL is therefore an aluminum BMX racing frame designed for riders seeking lightness, stiffness, responsiveness, and performance on the BMX race track.

- It is possible to install a crankset with a 24 or 30mm axle
- Meybo chain tensioner integrated into the frame on the rear stay
- Supplied with a fixed 15mm thru-axle for the rear wheel - 7005 aluminum (fully CNC machined)
