Meybo HSX AL G4.2 Frame Champagne/Gold
The Meybo HSX AL is a BMX Racing frame designed for riders looking for performance and responsiveness, without switching to a carbon frame.
FRAME MEYBO HSX AL
THE Meybo HSX AL is a framework of BMX Racing Designed for riders seeking performance and responsiveness without switching to a carbon frame. With its high stiffness and modern design, it stands out as one of the highest-performing aluminum BMX race frames in the Meybo range. Lightweight, stable, stiff, and responsive, it offers excellent handling during races, starts, corners, and accelerations.
Made from 6061-T6 aluminum, the HSX AL uses hydroformed tubes with varying wall thicknesses to optimize weight and stiffness. Its geometry was developed for the demands of top-level BMX racing, particularly on championship and World Cup tracks, with a balance between maneuverability, stability, and control at high speeds.
For this new generation, Meybo has completely redesigned the frame and modified most of the tubing. The work focuses on style as well as weight, stiffness, and BMX racing performance.
The HSX AL is exclusively compatible with a Flatmount brake caliper, directly attached to the rear stay of the frame, for a clean and rigid integration. This configuration is designed for a 120mm rotor and is not compatible with a 140mm rotor. 1, 2, and 4mm spacers are included to allow for precise rotor alignment depending on the hub mounting.
Depending on the frame size, the BMX bottom bracket standard varies: BB86 for Junior, Expert, and Expert XL sizes, then Pressfit BB386 for larger sizes. This design promotes stiffness of the crankset and frame, while limiting torsion during acceleration and sprints.
The rear triangle features a 15mm CNC-machined 7005 aluminum thru-axle, increasing stiffness and maintaining a consistent chainstay length regardless of the gearing used. Finally, the Meybo chain tensioner ensures even tension to optimize power transfer and rider performance in BMX racing.

Questions fréquentes
How do I choose my BMX Race frame size?
Size is read from the top-tube length and chosen according to the rider's height: Mini, Junior, Expert, then Pro and Pro XL/XXL for adults. See our size guide.
Which frame material should I favour?
Aluminium dominates racing for its weight/stiffness ratio. Chromoly is more robust for beginners, while carbon targets performance and maximum lightness.
Is shipping free?
Yes: shipping is free within mainland France from €99 of purchase. Below that, the cost is shown at checkout according to weight and the chosen shipping method.
Can I pay in instalments?
Absolutely. You can pay for your purchases in 2 or 3 instalments with Alma, completely securely. The option appears automatically at checkout.
How long do I have to return an item?
