The Chase ACT 1.2 (Advanced Carbon Technology) frame utilizes today's most advanced carbon technology to create a BMX race frame that not only delivers power to the world's best pros but also offers a perfect feel that isn't overly stiff. Chase took the best of the best, the ACT 1.0, and improved it further with the ACT 1.2, incorporating minor but significant enhancements.

FEATURES :
• Carbon monocoque frame with unidirectional structure
• New seat stays for improved chain and disc clearance
• Integrated 1-1/8" - 1.5" tapered steering system with reinforced alloy cups
• Internal cable routing and recessed brake lugs
• Aero seatpost with quick-release seat clamp
• Integrated Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket with reinforced alloy cups
• 20mm reinforced stainless steel rear dropouts with chain tensioners
Integrated alloy, with 10mm (3/8") hub adapter also included

Winning the UCI World Cup and the USA BMX #1 Pro title gave Chase's ACT line of carbon race frames serious credibility. Over the past two years, the ACT frame has won more UCI and USA BMX Elite Men's Pro races than any other frame, but Chase didn't rest on its laurels. Over the last year, Chase worked tirelessly to try and achieve the impossible: making the ACT 1.2 even better. After refining the design, building prototypes, testing, modifying, and testing some more, Chase believed they could do just that! Connor Fields and Joris Daudet had been riding the ACT 1.2 for over 10 months before it was ready for sale. Some key improvements include: new seat stays that allow for the mounting of larger chainrings without the chain touching the frame, as well as improved mounting of the Elevn disc brake adapter on the left side, and a new look for the ACT 1.2, with a matte finish and glossy graphics.

The ACT 1.2 is constructed using the highest quality carbon fiber known as UD (unidirectional) carbon fiber. UD has one of the highest tensile strengths of any carbon fiber and is currently the ultimate type of carbon fiber for use in a BMX frame. Tensile strength is the amount of force required to break the fibers, while the tensile modulus is a measure of the carbon fiber's stiffness. We exclusively use UD carbon when building the Chase ACT 1.2 frame to ensure the frames are of the highest quality available. It's not only stronger than most carbon fiber strands, but it's also lighter, though all of this comes at a higher cost. But when we designed the ACT frames, we focused first on performance and quality; price was an afterthought.

Features also include: an Aero seatpost and seat clamp system, a 1-1/8"-1.5" tapered head tube, internal brake cable routing, a Press Fit BB86 bottom bracket, special dropouts mounted on plates for 20mm or 10mm axle with an integrated chain tensioner system with 2 chain tensioning systems - internal and external - giving the necessary adjustment allowing you to use the full length of the rear dropout when using the optional Elevn disc brake adapter.

Sold with an ELEVN Aero carbon seatpost (length: 110 mm, weight: 60 g), an Aero quick-release seat clamp and 2 sets of 20 mm and 10 mm chain tensioners (weight: 32 g), allowing you to choose the type of rear hub to use with the frame.

Questions fréquentes

How do I choose my BMX Race frame size?

Size is read from the top-tube length and chosen according to the rider's height: Mini, Junior, Expert, then Pro and Pro XL/XXL for adults. See our size guide.

Which frame material should I favour?

Aluminium dominates racing for its weight/stiffness ratio. Chromoly is more robust for beginners, while carbon targets performance and maximum lightness.

Is shipping free?

Yes: shipping is free within mainland France from €99 of purchase. Below that, the cost is shown at checkout according to weight and the chosen shipping method.

Can I pay in instalments?
