Made from 6061 aluminum with an anodized finish, IKON UltraLite rims are specifically designed for competitive BMX racing. They are available with two different aerodynamic rim profiles for the front and rear, depending on the type of braking system used. Furthermore, they feature slightly angled spoke holes for a more direct spoke angle, resulting in stiffer spoke tension.

The IKON UltraLite double-wall aluminum rims are specifically designed for BMX racing. They are available in two different aerodynamic rim profiles: one with a machined braking surface for rear use and V-brakes, and the other without a braking surface for front use, but also for rear use if you have disc brakes. They also feature slightly angled spoke holes for a more direct spoke/head angle, which helps create stronger spokes. All this is finished with a brilliant gloss achieved through a double polishing process followed by a beautiful black anodizing.

Single or double wall for a BMX Race rim?
The double wall is stiffer and stronger, ideal for competition and for heavy or powerful riders. The single wall, lighter and cheaper, suits the youngest.
