High-end and ultra-lightweight, the TIOGA tire FastR X is designed for high-level BMX racing on fast, hard-packed tracks . Made from UTC's soft compound, it features a completely smooth center tread for low rolling resistance. On each side, it has multiple grooves and unique, recessed GripPod side knobs that grip with pressure: the more you lean, the more grip it gets. These are combined with additional serrated NanoPod surfaces, which maximize power transfer efficiency during acceleration. Finally, a specially designed, thicker texture pattern strategically applied to the sidewalls adds abrasion protection without sacrificing flexibility.

On fast, rolling tracks a narrow tyre (1-1/8" to 1.60) reduces friction; on loose or wet ground a wider section (1.75 to 1.95) adds grip. Many riders run a thinner tyre up front.
