EXCESS XLC-1 Wheels
Completely redesigned and optimized, the EXCESS XLC-1 wheels are specifically designed for BMX Racing and BMX Race, whether in competition or training. They feature EXCESS XLC double-wall 6061-T6 aluminum rims with two specific profiles, as well as sealed EXCESS XLC hubs equipped with a 3-pawl, 24-tooth engagement system offering efficient engagement when accelerating or exiting the gate.
Designed to meet the demands of BMX racing, these BMX race wheels offer an excellent balance of stiffness, reliability, and efficiency, supporting riders in both competition and training. Their design is specifically adapted to the unique stresses of BMX racing, particularly during restarts, accelerations, and starting gate exits.
Ready for V-brake use, the rear hub also offers the option of converting it for disc brake use with its CenterLock system. These EXCESS XLC-1 wheels thus provide a complete solution for BMX Race and BMX Racing.

The 20" is the racing standard from Mini to Pro; the 24" is reserved for the Cruiser. The youngest riders use smaller formats matched to the frame size.
