PRIDE WAVE CFR WHEELS
After extensive research and development, the French brand Pride Racing offers a pair of wheels that are both stiff and lightweight for BMX racing. Lightness and stiffness are two factors that are generally considered to be at odds, yet the performance of these wheels proves that the challenge has been met!
The Pride Wave CFR rim was created and developed exclusively for BMX racing. Its exclusive Pride Racing design incorporates a square reinforcement at each spoke head, allowing for higher spoke tension and superior wheel stiffness. Constructed from Toray T700 carbon, the Wave rim has a very low profile to minimize wind resistance and optimize stiffness. For the hubs, this pair of BMX Racing wheels is equipped with Pride Control V2 hubs, featuring a 20mm axle at the front and a 15mm axle at the rear. These hubs have 180 points of engagement and 6 micro-toothed pawls, which engage in groups of three, combined with a CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum body. The brake disc mount is the ISO 6-bolt standard, allowing you to equip your BMX Racing bike with a compatible disc brake system.
