Tubeless Ready System: IKON rims feature a Bead Lock system, necessary for the rim to be Tubeless Ready. With the installation of the necessary additional components, you can prepare the rim for a Tubeless setup, as well as the use of a specific Tubeless tire. With a Tubeless setup, you can lighten your wheels, save on rotational weight, and have a sealant inside your Tubeless Ready tire to help automatically repair small punctures. The additional components needed to convert to a Tubeless system include a special valve, rim tape, and liquid sealant.
