Accessories reduced because a colour is discontinued
On these small parts the reduction rarely has anything to do with the product itself: it is the anodised shade that is no longer carried over, or the blister of an older packaging. A red bolt kit or a set of bar pads in a dropped colour still works perfectly, but will never be made again in that finish.
The exact dimension, or nothing
An accessory cannot be fudged at build time: it either fits or it does not. Check the valve type, Presta or Schrader, before ordering caps. Check the internal diameter of a bar end, 22.2 mm on a BMX Race handlebar. For bolts, it is diameter, thread pitch, length and drive — Torx or hex — that must match the original part. For numbers and letters, it is the height allowed by your plate format.
Match your colours while stock lasts
