The SHIMANO SLX M7100 brake kit features the SERVO-WAVE system, delivering outstanding and reliable performance with smooth operation. It boasts a short, two-finger lever that is slim and ergonomic for easy braking modulation. The dual-piston master cylinder and caliper ensure powerful and reliable braking in all conditions. The M6100 lever also features additional support on the handlebar for increased rigidity during braking.
Thanks to its I-SPEC clamp, installation is very quick and doesn't require removing the grips. It also allows for a personalized cockpit adjustment thanks to a 20° adjustment angle for the shifter. The J-KIT system allows you to adjust the hose length before attaching it to the master cylinder and/or facilitates internal routing.

BRAKE INSTALLATION
- Position your brake lever on your handlebars. - Mount your caliper onto the disc brake bracket. - Remove the black rubber cap from the end of the brake hose. - Remove the end caps from the brake levers. - Slide the black rubber nut cover onto the brake hose. - Do not remove the small tab on the end of the hose. - Insert the brake hose into the lever nut. - While keeping the hose fully seated in the lever nut, tighten the nut to compress the olive inside the lever. Do not overtighten; the threads of the nut should remain visible, as they will be covered by the nut cover you previously slid onto the hose. - Now you can pump the brake to complete the installation.
