The SHIMANO DEORE M6100 brake kit features the SERVO-WAVE system, delivering exceptional and reliable performance with smooth operation. The short, two-finger lever is refined and ergonomic, allowing for precise braking control. The master cylinder and two-piston caliper ensure powerful and consistent braking in all conditions. Furthermore, the M6100 lever includes an additional support point on the handlebar, improving rigidity during braking.

Thanks to its I-SPEC mounting system, installation is quick and doesn't require removing the grips. It also offers a customized cockpit with a reach adjustment knob and a 20° shift lever angle adjustment. The J-KIT system allows for easy adjustment of the hose length before connecting it to the master cylinder and/or simplifies internal cable routing.

BRAKE INSTALLATION

• - Position your brake lever on your handlebars.
• - Mount your caliper onto the disc brake bracket.
• - Remove the black rubber cap from the end of the hose.
• - Remove the end caps located at the end of the brake levers.
• - Slide the black rubber nut cover onto the hose.
• - Do not peel off the small cap located on the end of the hose.
• - Insert the brake hose into the lever nut.
• - While ensuring the hose is properly seated at the bottom of the lever nut, tighten the nut to compress the olive inside the lever. There's no need to overtighten; the nut's threads should remain visible, as they will be concealed by the nut cover you previously slid onto the hose.
• - Now you can activate the brake to finalize its installation.
