Cleared cranksets: the available length decides everything
On an end-of-line set it is not the model that is missing but the crank length. What tends to survive are the extremes of the range, 165 mm or 180 mm, the middle sizes having gone first. That imbalance is what explains the price on the page, not any defect in the product.
Choosing a length that suits the rider
Crank length is read alongside the rider category and the frame size: short arms go to Mini and Junior, 175 to 180 mm to Pro and Pro XL. A crank that is too long grounds out on the exit of a berm and breaks your cadence off the gate. Do not go below your usual size to save money.
Spindle, bottom bracket and what is in the box
Check the spindle diameter — 19, 22 or 24 mm — against your bottom bracket, then the presence of the spacers and the pinch bolt: on cleared packaging they are sometimes absent. Finally, make sure your current chainring uses the same drive standard.
