Bottom Brackets Sale
Reduced bottom brackets and their replacement bearing kits, in Euro, Mid, Spanish and American. A cheap BMX bottom bracket here is an end-of-line reference or a remaining colour, from Box Components, Tangent, Crupi and Insight, in limited quantities with dispatched within 24 to 72 hours.
Why a bottom bracket ends up in clearance
The market has concentrated on a handful of standards, and makers are trimming their secondary references: a bottom bracket built for a less common shell, or for a spindle diameter that sells more slowly, ends up reduced. Replacement bearing kits follow the same path whenever a brand changes supplier.
Two measurements, and neither can be guessed
This is where buying mistakes are most frequent, because the part depends on the frame and not on the crankset. First record the shell standard: Euro BB threaded in 68 or 73 mm, Mid BB pressed in 41 mm, Spanish BB in 37 mm, American BB in 51 mm. Then record your crank spindle diameter — 19, 22 or 24 mm — because it fixes the internal bearing reference. A bottom bracket in the right standard but the wrong spindle diameter is of no use at all.
What is left in the sale, and where the detail is
In clearance there is often a single standard-and-diameter pairing left per reference. For every combination at standard price, rely on the catalogue bottom bracket category. See also the reductions on cranksets, sprockets and chains.
