Bar Plate

Discounted bar plates, but not just any plate
The bar plate follows graphic fashion: the artwork changes every season while the shape barely moves. The models gathered here are new and perfectly usable in competition, they have simply left the brand's catalogue. Each colour exists in small quantities only, and a plate broken in a crash is replaced, never discounted.
Your bar has to accept the plate
A bar plate mounts on the crossbar of the handlebar. If your handlebar does not have one, no discount will help: you will need a frame plate instead. Also check the height available between the crossbar and the stem, which is tighter on a high rise.
Fixings, numbers and readability
Check whether the nylon straps or the screws are supplied: on a clearance item the plate sometimes arrives alone in its bag. Adhesive numbers are almost never included. Finally, pick a background with enough contrast for your number to stay readable for the judge at the finish.
