Forks
Our cheap BMX forks bring together outgoing model years and leftover colours, in aluminium as well as carbon, from Inspyre, Chase, Box Components and Supercross. Brand-new forks, never fitted, available for as long as steerer lengths and axle standards remain in stock.
Cleared forks, not second-hand forks
A fork goes on sale when the brand releases a new model year, changes its graphics or drops an axle standard. These are new parts, in their original packaging, with their hardware. A fork that has taken an impact, carbon or aluminium alike, cannot be repaired and has no place in a clearance section.
Steerer, axle, wheel size: three dimensions to check
- Steerer length: it can be cut down, never extended. Measure your head tube before ordering.
- Diameter: straight 1"1/8 or tapered, depending on your headset.
- Axle: 10, 15 or 20 mm, to match the front hub you are keeping.
- Wheel: a fork built around 20" will not take a 24" Cruiser wheel.
Front braking: check what the fork accepts
Many current Race forks arrive without V-brake bosses and without disc mounting, since BMX Race brakes at the rear only. If your riding calls for a front brake, look at this line on the product sheet: it is often exactly the detail that sent a model to the clearance rack.
